I recently purchased a doll house for my daughter and looked long and hard for some dolls. These dolls are fantastic! I like the fact that they are "ethnic" and not just Caucasian. They are very durable and flexible and my daughter loves to play with them. I guess my only beef about the product would be that it had to come as a family and they all had only one skin tone. I am Hispanic but am very fair skinned and my daughter is mixed (Hispanic and African and American) and has slightly darker skin and very curly hair. I would have liked to be able to pick and choose the family members so that they looked a bit more like us, instead of a family that is all one race. However, overall I am very happy with this purchase and would do it again in a heartbeat.

My 3year old great niece immediately loved these dolls and started playing with them. They are cheerful, colorful and somewhat poseable. Great for the family dollhouse.

I really like these dolls, but the sad fact is that my kids don't. I bought them to go with the Plan chalet doll house and my girls just didn't like playing with them. I bought them because they're made from wood, cloth and braided cord - very durable and much better than plastic or vinyl. But they largely sit on the side while the girls use polly pockets with the house. *sigh*

I bought this family for my daughters for Christmas and they are adorable. They have square bodies though so when the clothing falls off, they are not easy to get back on. This afternoon I lightly glued the pants in place on all the dolls with Liquid Stitch (that is for hemming clothing and is non toxic). I hope this works as it will make play time more fun if my children are not endlessly adjusting clothing. Otherwise, I think they are perfect and so far accompany the Plan Toys stable and pets sets. So much fun! We are eagerly awaiting the furnished Chalet house!

I bought these dolls for use in play therapy with my clients. They are sturdy, but I only gave 4 stars for durability as one of the female doll's skirt became unglued and now always falls down! The kids seem to enjoy playing with them...even the boys. I call them "figures" for the boys, which seems to eliminate any reluctance due to gender expectations. I gave 4 stars for fun and educational value as this is dependent to some degree on the user. Overall, a great purchase, though, and I highly recommend it...especially to other play therapists!
